ART TAP episode 084

On tap this week are improv and podcasting buds who contribute to the “Adventures in Videoland” podcast, Doug Pruim and Gary McFall.
Check them out on:
YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3-gppPmMSK-nuFfYx3wemA
Instagram https://instagram.com/adventures_in_videoland/
Tumblr http://adventuresinvideoland.tumblr.com/

The boys share their early experiences with acting and singing, a fascinating discussion of reading imaginatively, developing artistic skills through Photoshopped nipple work, and their shared experiences with improv.  That and an announcing gig for local roller derby brought them to a contributors role with the Adventures in Videoland podcast.
And they shared Look-Ups of http://onesizefitsallimprov.com and One Size on YouTube and Facebook; http://www.adventuresinvideoland.com/podcast, also on Facebook and Instagram, and Adventures in Videoland Pantheon Companion on iTunes and SoundCloud, where you’ll find Gary and Doug.  They also share a best/worst movie discussed on the show, “Miami Connection,” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H38QiJWep5c

You can catch Gary and Doug in a One Size Fits All performance this Friday, June 21 at Bobby T’s on campus at 8:00 pm.  https://www.facebook.com/events/478956466183762/  Be sure to catch it!

FYI -
Jackanapes
 noun
jack·a·napes |  \ ˈja-kə-ˌnāps   \
Definition of jackanapes
1a: an impudent or conceited fellow
b: a saucy or mischievous child
2: MONKEY, APE

Oh, and I stand corrected - I referred to a Woody Allen movie and misnamed it.  "What's New Tiger Lily" is described on IMDB, "In Woody Allen's directorial debut, he took the Japanese action film Key of Keys (1965) and re-dubbed it, changing the plot to make it revolve around a secret egg salad recipe."  Hilarious.
