On tap this week is a local artist who is a steady presence on the gallery and art festival scene. Rena Brouwer is a watercolorist who has created work and exhibited throughout the Lafayette region and the state of Indiana, and indeed internationally.
Rena is co-owner and directs the Opera House Gallery of Contemporary Art in Delphi, Indiana, where she teaches and exhibits her work. She is also an Indiana Artisan, member of The Brown County Art Guild, Indiana Artists Club, Hoosier Salon, Indiana Plein Air Painters Association, and a Cardinal Fellow member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana.
All of that makes her about as Hoosier an artist as I believe you can get, and her story tells itself.

And ART TAP is available on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, Podcast Republic, Google Play Music, and Radio.com, so look for it, subscribe, and leave a rating and review. I’d love to have your feedback.
I want to thank the sponsor for this month’s podcast, Kate Walker. And I want to thank our hosts and engineers, Hans and Brittany Rees, here at Rec Room Recording at Tippecanoe Arts Federation in Lafayette, Indiana.
As there are very few sources for regular features on the arts anymore, I hope you’ll consider supporting the weekly ART TAP podcast to keep a dialogue running. You can support ART TAP in several ways: 1. downloading and listening; 2. sharing with friends and leaving a rating and review; 3. making a donation of any size (all are welcome and you’ll find a PayPal donation button on the ART TAP blog); and 4. by allowing me to add a sponsorship message to the podcast from you, your business, or your organization, to be shared with an arts-and-culture-minded audience.
I'm very grateful for your support!
