ART TAP episode 083

On tap this week is TJ Rosa, Purdue University student, local musician, and volunteer at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette as an actor, director, and educator.

TJ talks about taking on the directing challenge of the American classic “To Kill a Mockingbird,” by Harper Lee this fall at Civic Theatre.  And we talk about the upcoming 7th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival, at which TJ is directing two shows and co-directing another.  Make sure to catch it this weekend, June 7th, 8th, and 9th - https://www.lafayettecivic.org/the-7th-annual-10-minute-play-fest
And TJ then shares with us her original composition, “Travis,” a sparkling tune as energetic as she is.
TJ and I offer shout outs to our mutual friends Steve Koehler, Jeffrey Dexter, Jeff Anderson, Laurie Russell, Abby Laufman, and Steve Martin.

After the fact, TJ shared a Look-Up of a link to Peter Reynolds's website.  He's her favorite children’s book author/illustrator.  All of his books are about creating. https://www.peterhreynolds.com/

As there are very few sources for regular features on the arts anymore, I hope you’ll consider supporting the weekly ART TAP podcast to keep a dialogue running.  You can support ART TAP in several ways: 1. downloading and listening; 2. sharing with friends and leaving a rating and review; 3. making a donation of any size (all are welcome and you’ll find a PayPal donation button on the ART TAP blog); and 4. by allowing me to add a sponsorship message to the podcast from you, your business, or your organization, to be shared with an arts-and-culture-minded audience.
I'm very grateful for your support!
