ART TAP episode 041

Episode 041 features an interview withAngela Taylor, artist and owner at Lala Gallery and Studio.  Angela teaches lessons, classes, parties, groups, and students with special needs, ranging from children to adults in her private studio located in the Bindery Artist Studios.  http://lalagallery.com (It also features a ridiculous number of hand-dryer interruptions from the men’s room next door, but hopefully those can be ignored, as they didn’t faze Angela!)

Angela talks about the adventurous creation of a gallery/studio space for herself and providing active programming and a clubhouse atmosphere for the arts in Lafayette for the past ten years.  On Friday, May 18thshe presents a retrospective exhibit of her work at Lala Gallery in the Bindery Artist Studios gallery.  #lalasdecade

Her Look-Ups include the music of Bjork, which gets her through her day, Bicycle Lafayette (https://www.bicyclelafayette.org) a bicycle advocacy group in Tippecanoe County, and the Instagram page “See Kristine Grow,” a friendly Instagram gardener with helpful tips and experiences. (https://www.instagram.com/see_christine_grow/).  Enjoy!
