ART TAP episode 036

Episode 036 features insights and questions posed by listeners.  Most of it has to do with the nature of the arts and artists in the Lafayette-West Lafayette area, namely what’s unique to this area and what’s holding it back.

I also talk about a couple of articles I found online recently:
- the discovery near an ancient lake in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, in the United Kingdom of one of the earliest examples of a crayon, and to me what it means about innate creativity.  http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2018/03/archaeologists-discover-oldest-crayon/
- and an illustrated graphic novel of David Bowie’s inventive, norm-bending life at Haddon Hall in London.
